Are you struggling? Maybe your child is having a hard time at school and you are not sure what the problem is. Or maybe you have a child with severe disabilities who depends on you to care for every aspect of their daily life. You want to help them grow and develop, but don’t know what to do.

Most importantly, we have the professional skills to help you and your child to see victory in the challenges of everyday life. About the Therapist
Sarah Krygsman, MScOT, Reg. OT (AB.)
Sarah been an Occupational Therapist since 2016. She has experience working with children with many conditions including cerebral palsy, autism, and juvenile arthritis. Sarah loves to support social-emotional and cognitive development in children and youth. She also has a passion for working with individuals with neuromotor difficulties.
Sarah has had the privilege of working with experts in the fields of pediatric physical medicine, pediatric rheumatology, augmentative and alternative communication, neurodevelopmental differences, as well as adult stroke care.
She desires to see kids and families flourish and is strongly committed to evidence-based practice. Sarah encourages people to take little steps and believe for big miracles. She has seen amazing personal and client transformation through this process.

School Skills
If your child has difficulty with participating in school skills, such as holding a pencil, printing, typing, or cutting, we will:
- complete assessment to identify how visual, visual motor, motor, and self-regulation skills are impacting your child
- use play-based interventions to promote growth!
- give you strategies for additional home practice.
- offer to connect with your child’s teacher or school team.

Supporting Complex Communicators
If your child uses a wheelchair and has limited movement and speech, but you know they are trying to convey things with their body, we will:
- assess visual, motor, and regulation skills.
- use alternate modalities to support their movement development (e.g. vibration and neuro-motor electrical stimulation if appropriate.)
- implement strategies for visual development
- coach on using a relationship-based framework to understand and interact with your child.

Activities of Daily Living
If getting dressed, tying shoelaces, eating a variety of foods, brushing teeth, going to the bathroom or wiping after a bowel movement are hard for your child, we will:
- complete a thorough assessment and/or interview to understand the cause of the concern.
- provide consultation and treatment in a play-based manner.
- utilize the CO-OP model to promote independence.
